Regular Servers Farming Locations (110)
All of these locations will require you to be boxing or to have gear good enough so that you can handle the higher level mobs. If you don't have current expansion group gear or semi recent raid gear many of the locations mentioned in this section will be too hard for you to handle. I recommend you farm something easier until you get the gear needed to handle these locations. Check the earlier sections for more ideas.

Solo Farming: Arguably the best thing you can farm in the entire game solo is collectible sets that spawn throughout many of the different zones. The more current the zone and the more enemies there that see through invis, the more rewarding it'll usually be to farm them. Here is a list of all the Collection Achievements from TDS - RoS. These are required for the TBL Evolving Item Threadbare Weighted Tabard so they'll retain value in The Bazaar for a long time.
TDS Collections: See the Darkened Sea, The Deep Darkened Sea
CoTF Collections: Hearing the Call, Worlds Apart, Look Into the Future, Separate Ways
TBM Collections: See the Broken Mirror, The Broken Mirror Darkly
EoK Collections: The Combine's Return, The Divided Empires
RoS Collections: The Plains of Kunark, The Ruins of Kunark
Infiltration of Kor-Sha & Mysteries of Kor-Sha (EoK) - These are two Heroic Adventures given to you by Praetor Gilfol in the Gates of Kor-Sha. Throughout these Heroic Adventures you'll find a unique set of collectibles that can't be found anywhere else - which is the most profitable part of doing these missions for players on regular servers.
Goblins and Fools (EoK) - Much like the above two tasks you'll find a unique set of collectibles that drops during this mission which you cannot find anywhere else. On regular servers since much of the gear/items that are valuable are NO DROP - this offers you an alternative for making money.
Frontier Mountains (EoK) - The Sarnak enemies drop collectibles but they're usually always heavily camped from my experience and their collectibles aren't worth much because of it. Alternatively, the large giants in the center of the zone drop an item called Giant Lymph Node which ispart of the Methods of Sarnak Destruction EoK partisan quest. Thus, this is arguably the most valuable/best camp to farm.
Gates of Kor-Sha (EoK) - The Sarnak enemies in this zone drop Korshan Sarnak Scales which are part of the Methods of Sarnak Destruction EoK partisan quest.
Scorched Woods (EoK) - Players on regular servers should farm the burynai (badgers), the giants at the giant fort or the fire elementals. Each of these enemy types drops a unique set of collectibles which you can sell in The Bazaar for some plat. The Burynai enemies additionally have a chance of dropping Meteorite Fragments which are part of the Methods of Sarnak Destruction EoK partisan quest.
Kor-Sha Laboratory (EoK) - This zone has a few good camps in it with a lot of different hunting options. On regular servers I recommend you pick the camps with more trash mobs that way you have a better chance of finding expansion wide rare items. Additionally the goblin camp in the bottom right corner of the zone drops Ancient Sarnak Bones which are valuable on regular servers since they're used in Methods of Sarnak Destruction an EoK partisan quest.
Gorowyn (RoS) - This location is great for both regular servers and Firiona Vie; there's an extremely valuable aug that drops from one of the camps I recommend here and basically every mob in this entire zone drops Tradeskill Items - which will be valuable on all servers. Also two unique sets of Collectibles drop in this zone which players on regular servers can sell.
Howling Stones (RoS) - Since on Firiona Vie all of the Power Sources that drop in Ring of Scale are tradeable, this zone makes an amazing money making location on that server. People on regular servers will still make some cash here, from the collectibles and Conflagrant Tradeskill items but not nearly as much as those on FV.
Sathir's Tomb (RoS) - The only camp in this zone that is at all worth it for those who haven't completed Empires of Kunark progression is Xalgoz. He is in the same room as the named enemy that drops Piece of a Medallion, used in Skyfire Mountains Key. Much like every other RoS camp you'll get lots of Conflagrant Tradeskill items to sell as well as RoS Spell Runes.
If you find some of these locations too difficult I highly recommend that you start boxing an extra character or two. There is no better way to increase how much plat you can make an hour than leveling up your own 6 box team and boxing current expansion locations.
With programs like Isboxer or Macroquest2 boxing is accessible to every player in the game and it'll allow you to do anything you want in the game without having to find a group or bug people for help. If you're interested in boxing, read my Boxing Guides to get started and have the entire process broken down for you bit by bit. (Note: Both of these programs are not allowed on True Box servers)
There's also more to farm than just plat in Everquest! The Omens of War expansion adds in permanent resist increases, Dragons of Norrath adds in a lot of passive permanent boosts and when Call of the Forsaken Hits, completing all of an expansions progression tasks will reward you with Hero's AAs. For more information about all of these permanent passive increases and how to obtain them head over to my Permanent Stat Boosts Guide.
Finally, the last thing worth mentioning is that there's also different clickies that you can get for your character that'll be forever useful. Overhaste clickies like Ancestral memories or the Circle of Power clickies. Even a Haste clicky for melee characters that don't box an Enchanter can be pretty nice. Head on over to my Useful Clickies Farming Guide for more information about what clickies you can farm and from where.
