Post Mercenary Leveling Guide - Muramite Proving Grounds (MPG)

Muramite Proving Grounds, also known as MPG, is a rather good zone for players between the levels of 70 - 80 that aren't boxing and have no groups. This zone has enemies which are much more spaced out than basically any other zone which as you could imagine makes them quite easy for you to pick off.

This zone is basically just one big dungeon crawl. There's really no optimal route for me to tell you to follow or great camp location for me to point you in the direction of. You're just going to want to wander around like a chicken without a head killing every enemy that gets in your way.

If you want an end destination try to work your way north to the Riftseeker's Sanctum zone line. That zone will offer another great hunting location 70 - 80 which you may actually enjoy more than this one! There is one piece of advice I can give you while hunting this zone though and that's to avoid the named enemies!

Normally you'd wanna kill every named you see but in this case they're all just basically a huge risk that isn't worth taking. None of their loot will be worth using anymore and it wont even be worth selling in The Bazaar since Defiant Gear trumps it.

Additional Information

- This zone is best known for the different MPG Trials that take place here. They permanently boost a character's resists.

- If you're having trouble managing your Inventory Space I highly recommend you invest in some Extraplanar Trade Satchels which are 32 Slot Tradeskill Bags. Alternatively you could also buy Unexpanded Tailored Backpacks as well. Though, the Backpacks will likely be more expensive. Follow the links provided to learn more about each item.

- If you need more plat while leveling I strongly recommend you check out my How to make more plat while leveling by Bartering Guide. It'll give you a list of all the different items you should be keeping an eye out for to Barter/Sell!
