Kael Drakkel, The King's Madness - RoF Leveling Guide

This Kael Drakkel is called Kael Drakkel The King's Madness and shouldn't be confused with the Velious version of the zone. If you're here looking for the Velious version of the zone then follow the link and shoo! Shoo!

Ahem! Those of you who are here correctly for the Rain of Fear Version of this zone, keep on reading! As you can see on the map above I have three locations marked. Each of them is good for different reasons and I will break down why just below.

#1: This is one of the better camps in the zone, depending on whether or not you have Levitate (slippery floors). There's two named, Fjeka and Pakjol and they each drop augs which are good for melee and tanks. The only crappy part about this whole camp is the slippery floors. If you can deal with that you'll be fine.

#2: This is one of the few wide open areas in Kael Drakkel - You can pull to this location moderately safely.

#3: Much like #2 this location offers you a good spot to camp to pull all of the nameds in this area. There are more nameds near this camp than #2 but there are less mobs for EXP. Also, this area is usually safe to make camp. I say usually because I remember it being completely safe but I also sometimes forget.

 

 

Additional Information

- All Rain of Fear zones can be reached through Shard's Landing once you complete the attunement quest for that zone's portal. If it's your first time coming to Kael Drakkel/East Wastes you'll need to take the long way.

- If you're having trouble managing your Inventory Space I highly recommend you invest in some Extraplanar Trade Satchels which are 32 Slot Tradeskill Bags. Alternatively you could also buy Unexpanded Tailored Backpacks as well. Though, the Backpacks will likely be more expensive. Follow the links provided to learn more about each item.
