Ethernere Tainted West Karana - CoTF Leveling Guide

Ethernere Tainted West Karana is best reached through the Guild Hall using the Stormstone of the West. This is the entry CoTF zone and the little camp you zone in at has all the spell vendors as well as Heroic Adventure currency vendors (which sell some quite awesome loot)!

As far as the hunting in this zone goes we have a few different options depending on what you have available. If you're solo I recommend sticking to the area just south of the zone in/main hub. This area has a bunch of relatively weak enemies and is marked by the large blue box on my map above.

If you're a group with small numbers either the green circle or purple circle will fit you better. The purple circle has the Crazed Scarecrow named and the green circle has Grawrarawr or however that is spelled. Jeeze! These are the two best camps in the zone for EXP, the Scarecrow camp will get some traffic of other players but Grawrar- you'll barely see anyone here!

Grawrarawr: Grawrarawr's Heart, Grawrarawr Carapace Shard

While hunting in this zone every named you kill will have a chance of dropping <Armor Piece> of Latent Ether. This armor can be used to make Latent Etheric armor which is the Tier 1 non prestige set for the CoTF Expansion.

 

Additional Information

- The best way for players to reach Ethernere Tainted West Karana is by taking the Guild Hall portal. The item you'll need to purchase is Stormstone of the West.

- There are four sets of collectibles in this zone that you can find belonging to The Source of Ethernere Achievement.

- The nameds in Ethernere Tainted West Karana all have a rare chance to drop Relic of Foresight which is an aug that improves your Specialized Divination by 15%.

- There are rare items unique to Call of the Forsaken called chase items.
