Tyr's Hand - Eastern Plaguelands Farming Location (Classic - WoTLK)
Tyr's Hand is the compound of scarlet elite enemies in the southeastern portion of Eastern Plaguelands. This farming location is highly situational depending on your class and whether or not you're solo or with a friend/group. Rogues and Hunters are typically the most common classes that farm this location, with Feral Druids coming in third.
However, just about any class that can kite could farm here pretty easily if they pull mobs that don't cast. Also, basically any class that is with a healer friend will find it pretty easy to hunt here as well. Rogues typically stealth inside and pick off enemies one by one that they find wandering around out in the open. Additionally, they can go around and Pick Pocket everything if they want to.
Other classes typically stay at the entrance and kite enemies around in the open area in front of Tyr's Hand. There is an alternative into Tyr's Hand, a small path that goes along the mountain by the northern guard tower which you can use to enter the area too.
Inside of Tyr's Hand you'll find some Solid Chests that can spawn in multiple places throughout the compound - outside and inside some of the buildings. I've seen one spawn in the southern most building, outside a shack in the back of the compound and also one inside of the church at the eastern most end of the area.
Herbalists will find some Dreamfoil, Sungrass, Golden Sansam and Mountain Silversage spawns throughout the area. Miners will have a chance of finding Rich Thorium in the area, but as far as I know no other deposits have a chance of spawning here.
