Spartans At War - Act 1 Story Quest

Spartans At War is the second Story Quest in Titan Quest and it begins by speaking to Diomedes immediately after you complete A Troubled Village. For the first part of this quest you will need to travel to the Spartan War-Camp and speak with Brasidas who is outside of Leonidas' tent. You will have to travel through a few areas to get to the Spartan War-Camp and you'll pass a few Side Quests along the way.

During this guide I will always mention which Side Quests are in the area as you're doing the main Story Quest. I will link to each of the Side Quest guides below, if you'd like more information on them then follow the link.

After speaking with Brasidas in the Spartan War-Camp you'll need to travel to the northern side of Pellana Valley and defeat Nessus, the first real boss fight of the game. Nessus is going to be challenging depending on how you've spent your Skill Points thus far and how many enemies you've skipped until now.

There are two moves you need to know about for Nessus, his bleed damage DoT and his Summon Allies horn ability. Any time you defeat the two centaur that come with Nessus he's going to call in more - so kill one centaur then focus entirely on Nessus. His second attack, the bleed DoT is a short range attack that will hit anyone around him. You can time this attack to frequently avoid it if you pay attention.

Once you've defeated Nessus return to the Spartan War-Camp and speak with Brasidas again, he'll allow you an audience with Leonidas in the tent. Upon speaking to Leonidas you'll complete the quest and will be rewarded with a Skill Point.

Note: If you don't speak with Leonidas and instead progress the game forward to The Battle for Athens quest he will no longer be at the Spartan War-Camp and instead you will need to speak with him outside of Athens.

Completion of this quest will automatically begin the next Story Quest, The Words of the Oracle.
