World of Warcraft Tailoring Profession Guide
Tailoring is one of the most common profession chosen amongst "clothies". Tailoring allows you to make gear for cloth users and other valuable unique items for clothies. The main ingrediant used in Tailoring is cloth, which can be gathered from Humanoids all around the world. Generally in order to use the cloth that is found from the mobs you first must make it into bolts.
Tailors also make bags and spell threads. Bags of course allow you to carry more items around, Spell thread on the other hand is very similar to Leatherworkings Kits. You will be able to enchant your leg armor with the spell thread that Tailors make. Spell Threads, however are more geared toward cloth users and healers. Very similar to the profession itself.
Tailoring Paths
Tailoring has 3 different paths that you can choose to specialize in once you reach 350. Below are each of the paths and how to specialize in them.
Mooncloth Tailoring:Allows the tailor to create an additional mooncloth or moonshroud when that cloth is created.
In order to become a Mooncloth Tailor, you have to accept the quest from Nasmara Moonsong in Lower City and head to Cenarion Refuge. In Cenarion Refuge open your Primal Mooncloth Supplies and take both of the items out. Stand in the moonwell and right click the cloth. After you're done creating it fly back to Shattrath and turn in your quest. Ta-Da!
Shadoweave Tailoring: Allows the tailor to create an additional shadowcloth or ebonweave when that cloth is created.
In order to become a Shadoweave Tailor, you have to accept the quest from Andrion Darkspinner in Lower City and head to Shadowmoon Valley. In Shadowmoon Valley head to the Altar of Shadows (58, 70) and use your Crystal of Deep Shadows. After you're done creating it fly back to Shattrath and turn in your quest. Ta-Da!
Spellfire Tailoring: Allows the tailor to create an additional spellcloth or spellweave when that cloth is created.
In order to become a Spellfire Tailor, you have to accept the quest from Gidge Spellweaver in Lower City and head to Netherstorm. In Netherstorm you have to use your Nether-wraith Beacon and kill the Nether-wraith that comes out. Loot his Essence then return to Lower City and turn in your quest.

Choosing a Second Profession
When choosing a second profession as Tailoring many will argue and say Enchanting is the best choice. I do agree with this, as a Tailor, Enchanting is the best choice for a second profession. A close second would be both Skinning and Jewelcrafting.
Extra Benefits to Tailoring
Tailoring, very similar to Engineering currently only has fun extra benefits. Tailors are able to create bags, which are of course used by everyone... But still awsome!! They are also able to create a Flying Carpet, so you can be your own Aladin. I know right! To see a link of the flying carpet click here.
Profiting off Tailoring
Tailoring can be difficult to profit off of depending on how many Tailors are on your server. As a Tailor you will be making Spell Thread and Bags to profit off of. You can also craft epic items for people if they need them for a small fee.
