World of Warcraft Leatherworking Profession Guide
Leatherworking allows the player to create leather and mail armor for himself and other plays. Leatherworkers are also able to create armor kits which are a form of enchants that can be placed on Feet, Chest, Hands, Legs. They are also able to create a rarer armor kit, that can be used on the legs.
Leatherworkers are another Tradeskill that is a must in order to maximize your character. The armor kits they make for legs are one of a kind. The only other tradeskill that can do it is Tailoring, but they are more geared towards casters.

Your other option is, you guessed it! Enchanting. You can't go wrong with Enchanting no matter what you pair it with.
Also if you choose Enchanting with Leatherworking you will be able to DE some of the crap that you make, saving money with Enchanting as well.
