Tanaris Pirates - Mageweave Cloth Farming Location (Classic - WoTLK)

 

One of the best locations you can farm Mageweave Cloth at in the game is the pirates in the eastern portion of Tanaris. This location is so good that it's typically camped by one or two people during prime time hours while a lot of people are still leveling up. Mages love to AoE this location due to the high mob density along with the drops.

You'll find a lot of Mageweave Cloth at this location which will always have a decent sell price on the Auction House, but what makes this location even better is the reputation gains. Every time you defeat a pirate you'll earn 5 reputation with Gadgetzan and 2 or 3 reputation with all of the other Steamwheedle Cartel factions.

Even if you're someone who doesn't care about maxing out their reputation, it's still worthwhile to get Honored as you'll receive a 10% discount at every Goblin town merchant. There are only a few locations where you can grind Steamwheedle Cartel reputation and this one is the highest level one in the game.
