Farming Herbs in Vashj'ir

Vashj'ir is pretty much the only zone you will be able to farm Azshara's Veil in since it is a herb indigenous to water. Along with Azshara's Veil you will also find a decent amount of Stormvine here, which doesn't sell for as much as Azshara's Veil does but it will still net you a little bit of a profit. Along with those two herbs you will also get a lot of Volatile Life, which sells for about 5g each. The most annoying thing about Vashj'ir is that it is so damn big. Since the zone is so gigantic it is split into three parts, Kelp'thar Forest, The Shimmering Expanse and Abyssal Depths. It doesn't really matter where you start just hop on the blue line for my path in any of the three pictures and go to town with picking herbs.

Regardless of where you start the path you will find a ton of herbs along the way. One thing I will add though, if you enter the zone through your factions main town, follow my path into Kelp'thar Forest first, then start heading south back through there and follow the path like that. Trust me, the herbs spawn fast. By the time you go all the way north through Kelp'thar the herbs to the south will be respawning. It's just that awesome here.

Usually within an hour or two of farming here I completely fill all of my bags and get at least a stack and a half of Volatile Life. Which you can make bank just from Volatile Life since it sells so fast and for a good amount. Within minutes of putting my Volatile Life auctions up they usually sell, making me always wish I put them up for more!

Vashj'ir Shimmering Expanse Farming Path

As far farming Vashj'ir goes, I have found that the each of the areas shares just about the same spawn rate for Azshara's Veil/Stormvine. Certain little "islands" if you will, since they're underwater I don't really know what to call them. But in Kelp'thar Forest by the Naga to the south and the goblins in the center you will find a few different herbs. In the Shimmering Expanse I have found that Silver Tide Hollow and Shimmering Grotto have an extremely good spawn rate of herbs, as does the small slice of land going east of Legion's Rest just south os Nespirah.

Biel'aran Ridge has an alright spawn rate for herbs from what I have seen. It shows a few there on the map and stuff but everytime I have gone there it has been just meh. Actually in most of my paths I usually skip it since herbs spawn so fast around the rest of the zone you don't even really need to go here and waste your time. However, people would QQ if I didn't include that island, call me retarded and all that fun stuff. So here! Take your island!

Abyssal Depths Herbalism Farming Path

After the Shimmering Expanse you will want to go further west into Abyssal Depths. My path in this area will get some bitching because it is one of a kind. From here you will want to go west, past Tenebrous Cavern through the Promontory Point little gorge thing, a few herbs spawn throughout here. From there circle around north across the goblin area with the mind control squids stuck to their head and follow that all the way southwest past L'ghorek. Past this giant...thing.... Is a place called the Abandoned Reef. You will find a lot of Stormvine back here but no Azshara's Veil. Also a bit of Titanium spawns back here if you're a miner too.

From the Abandoned Reef you will want to follow the Underlight Cavern north until you cross paths with your previous path. From here follow it north and back into Shimmering Expanse. From there you're done!
