NHL Hockey '94 is a ice hockey video game released in 1993 for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) and the Sega Genesis. It was developed by Electronic Arts (EA) Canada and published by EA Sports. The game features all 26 NHL teams at the time and includes real players, team logos, and team colors. The game is known for introducing several new features to the series, such as one-timers, fake shots, and the ability to control the goalie. It also features a Stanley Cup mode, which allows players to compete in a playoff-style tournament to try and win the championship. The game was very well received by critics and fans, and is considered one of the best sports games of all time.
