Eye of the Beholder is a dungeon-crawling role-playing game (RPG) developed by Westwood Associates and published by Strategic Simulations, Inc. (SSI) for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES). The game was released in 1994 and is a port of the popular PC game of the same name that was released in 1991. In Eye of the Beholder, players create a party of adventurers and explore the dungeons beneath the city of Waterdeep, battling monsters and solving puzzles along the way. The game features real-time combat and a first-person perspective, with players using the SNES controller to move and attack. The game also includes a map-making feature, allowing players to create their own maps of the dungeon as they explore.
