The Sims 2, released in 2004, is a strategic "life simulation" video game that was developed in Redwood City, California studio of Maxis and published by Electronic Arts. It's the sequel to "The Sims".

This game allows you to create your own Sim (person), neighborhoods, houses, families, and more. Players gain experience rewards from managing their Sims and form relationships similar to real life. There is no final defined goal in The Sims 2, which allows you to freely forge your Sims' own destiny...for better or worse.
