Ronde is a unique and visually stunning arcade-style action game that was released in 1997 for the SEGA Saturn gaming console. Developed by Tamsoft and published by ASCII Corporation, Ronde features a distinctive combination of 2D and 3D graphics, fast-paced gameplay, and a futuristic cyberpunk setting. In Ronde, players take on the role of a "Rounder," a skilled pilot who controls a flying, transformable mecha known as a "Round Gear." As a Rounder, players must navigate through various stages filled with enemy mechas, obstacles, and environmental hazards. The gameplay features a mix of shooting, dodging, and strategic maneuvering to defeat enemies and progress through the levels.

The game also features an engaging story with multiple branching paths and endings, as well as a variety of weapons and power-ups to upgrade the Round Gear and enhance its abilities. Players can choose different Rounders to play as, each with their own unique Round Gear and abilities, adding replay value and strategic depth to the gameplay.
