Capcom Generations 5 is a compilation of classic Capcom arcade games released by Capcom Co., Ltd. in 1998 for the Sega Saturn. It is part of the Capcom Generations series, which features collections of retro Capcom games from various eras. Capcom Generations 5 includes four classic Capcom arcade games from the 1980s: "1942," "1943: The Battle of Midway," "1943 Kai," and "1944: The Loop Master." These games are vertical-scrolling shoot 'em up games set in World War II, where players control fighter planes and battle against enemy aircraft, warships, and bosses.

The compilation features faithful recreations of the original arcade games, with updated graphics and sound for the Sega Saturn hardware.
