PaRappa the Rapper is a rhythm video game developed by NanaOn-Sha and published by Sony Computer Entertainment. It was released on November 17, 1997. The game features a unique visual style reminiscent of paper cutouts and centers around the titular character, PaRappa, a dog rapper who aspires to impress his crush, Sunny Funny, and become a skilled rapper. Players control PaRappa as he follows along with rap masters and attempts to mimic their raps by pressing buttons in time with the music.
