Temple of Time - Piece of Heart Locations

The Temple of Time is home to three different pieces of heart - one more than most of the other dungeons in the game! Only two of these pieces of hearts are actually found within the dungeon though, the third piece of heart is found just outside of the Temple of Time but requires you to have the dungeon item to collect it.

Both pieces of heart inside of the dungeon are found on the 5th floor. The third piece of heart, found outside of the dungeon, is located right next to the Female Golden Snail, which crawls around on the stair case leading out of the dungeon.

 

Temple of Time - First Piece of Heart

The first piece of heart you can get in the Temple of Time is found in one of the rooms on the 5th floor that has a crystal in it that you must shoot with the arrow. Once you get the Dominion Rod you'll be able to move one of the metal statues on the other side of the electric fence to the switch and press it down.

Alternatively you can use the big statue your first time through the dungeon - you'll pass right by this piece of heart while escorting the giant statue back to the main room.

 

Temple of Time - Second Piece of Heart

This piece of heart is found in another room on the 5th floor but this time you have to access it from the room with the spinning mechanism and the first Poe (#14). This room is on the third floor of the dungeon and we solved a puzzle here earlier so you should be familiar with it.

What you need to do is pick up two of the small metal statues and bring them up the elevator with you in the middle of the room. You'll want to use both of these little metal statues to raise the platform up which will get you into the southern most room of the dungeon.

In here you'll find a ton of enemies to dispatch of as well as two alcoves in the southern most portion of the room. One will have a little metal statue already in it and the other one you'll have to toss one of the metal statues into. Run both of them down the line and onto the switch to make the treasure chest with the piece of heart appear.

 

Temple of Time - Third Piece of Heart

The third piece of heart is found in the entrance room of the Temple of Time. The same room that the Female Golden Snail is in - the room closest to The Sacred Grove. In the back of this room, right by where the Female Golden Snail is found you'll find two Owl Statues (shown in my screenshot). <Add link in for Female Golden Snail>

Use the Dominion Rod on the Owl Statues and move them forward to unobstruct the path. Behind one of the Owl Statues is a piece of heart and behind another is one of the Poes (#16) in Temple of Time.
