Controls

D-Pad: Move Zero around
A Button: Attack with Zero's weapon
B Button: Jump
L Button: Dash (when used with the D-pad)
R Button: Cycle through weapons
Start Button: Pause the game

 

Button Combinations:

Dash Jump: Press the B Button to jump, then quickly press and hold the L Button to perform a dash jump.
Wall Jump: When Zero is near a wall, press the opposite direction on the D-pad to perform a wall jump.
Charge Shot: Hold down the A Button to charge up Zero's weapon, then release it to fire a more powerful shot.
Saber Combo: Press the A Button repeatedly to perform a combo attack with Zero's saber.

 

Z-Saber Combo 1: Press the attack button three times in a row to execute a three-hit Z-Saber combo.

Z-Saber Combo 2: Press the attack button four times in a row to execute a four-hit Z-Saber combo.

Z-Saber Combo 3: Press the attack button five times in a row to execute a five-hit Z-Saber combo.

Z-Saber Combo 4: Press the attack button six times in a row to execute a six-hit Z-Saber combo.

Z-Saber Combo 5: Press the attack button seven times in a row to execute a seven-hit Z-Saber combo.

Z-Saber Combo 6: Press the attack button eight times in a row to execute an eight-hit Z-Saber combo.

Z-Saber Combo 7: Press the attack button nine times in a row to execute a nine-hit Z-Saber combo.

Z-Saber Combo 8: Press the attack button ten times in a row to execute a ten-hit Z-Saber combo.

Z-Saber Combo 9: Press the attack button eleven times in a row to execute an eleven-hit Z-Saber combo.

Z-Saber Combo 10: Press the attack button twelve times in a row to execute a twelve-hit Z-Saber combo.

Jump Slash: Press the attack button while jumping to perform a jumping slash with the Z-Saber.

Rising Slash: Press the attack button while in mid-air to perform a rising slash with the Z-Saber.

Dash Attack: Press the attack button while dashing to perform a dash attack with the Z-Saber.

Spin Slash: Press and hold the attack button to charge up a spinning attack with the Z-Saber. Release the button to unleash the attack.

Sentsuizan: While dashing, press the attack button and the jump button to perform a spinning slash attack that launches Zero into the air.

Rakuhouha: Press the attack button while in mid-air to perform a powerful downward thrust attack with the Z-Saber.

Hyouryuushou: While dashing, press the attack button to perform a forward-moving slash attack with the Z-Saber.

Kuuenbu: Press the jump button twice in quick succession to perform a double jump.

Hieijin: Press and hold the R button to charge up a powerful ice attack. Release the button to unleash the attack.

Hadangeki: Press and hold the R button to charge up a powerful fire attack. Release the button to unleash the attack.

Raijinken: Press and hold the R button to charge up a powerful lightning attack. Release the button to unleash the attack.

Souenbu: Press and hold the L button to charge up a powerful cyclone attack. Release the button to unleash the attack.
