Golden Sun Djinni 20 - 28 Locations & Guide

This page contains locations of Djinnis #20 - 28 in Golden Sun and a little bit of information on how to acquire that Djinni. Each location has at least one picture which you can click on to enlarge if needed as well as a brief summary about how to acquire the Djinni.

I decided to split the guide up into three parts because of the amount of lag mobile phones and tablets experience from loading multiple pictures on one page.

 

(20) Hail - Mercury Djinni (Overworld)

Hail is found on the overworld to the northwest of Tolbi. If you head a little bit north of Tolbi you'll cross a bridge, head northwest of that bridge and you'll find another bridge which is shown in my screen shot above. Wander around the area you see Isaac standing in my screen shot and you'll bump into Hail in no time.

 

(21) Ground - Venus Djinni (Kalay Docks - Secondary Entrance)

Ground is obtained by entering Kalay Docks from the secondary northern entrance which can only be reached from Tolbi. If you start at Tolbi you'll want to travel west until you come across a bridge; the same bridge that we took to reach Hail. Instead of continuing west through (which would lead us to Hail) we'll want to travel east instead.

Walk until you reach the coast and then follow it - continue east past the beach until you come across Kalay Docks (shown in my screen shot) you'll want to enter the docks from this side and it'll put you in a different location when you enter than usual. You'll be able to safely grab Ground, the Venus Djinni from here.

 

(22) Squall - Jupiter Djinni (Altmiller Cave)

You will come across Squall while traveling through the Altmiller Cave - he appears along the the route you must take but he's out of bounds unless you properly solve the puzzle. I'll explain how to solve the puzzle using the screen shot above. As you can see I have marked each of the three pillars, 1, 2 and of course 3.

Start by making your room look just like mine. Then you'll want to do the following...

Push 2 to the top of the room.

Freeze the puddle using Frost Psynergy.

Push 1 over so that it hits the frozen pillar.

Move behind the pillar that's standing up and push 2 down so that it hits the frozen pillar as well.

Move 1 to its original place. Then circle around 1 and push it back against the frozen pillar.

Move up to where 3 is and push it down. Success! We have access to the Djinni now!! Be prepared for a fight when you go to speak with this guy.

(23) Tonic - Mercury Djinni (Lunpa Fortress)

Tonic is found inside the Lunpa Fortress but he can't be acquired your first trip through the dungeon. You can only get Tonic after having beaten Toadnopa and escorted Hammet back to Kalay. If you accidentally road the wagon back to Kalay that's fine you can come back, sneak back into Lunpa and then sneak back into the fortress.

Once inside the fortress make your way back through the entire thing following the same exact path you did the first time. There's a room you can enter this time now that you have the key which unlocks doors to grab 4 different treasure chests. You'll also have to fight the same 3 Brigand enemies again that you had to the first time through this dungeon!

(24) Flash - Mars Djinni (Suhalla Desert)

Flash is found within the Suhalla Desert towards the end of the dungeon just before you fight the Storm Lizard. He's the boss Lizard in the tornado that actually chases you around (you have to go down the ladder to get to him). Prior to reaching the ladder - just before the reddish tornado gets out of sight you'll come to an area that looks like you could jump across... if only something else where in the middle.

The screen shot on the left, above, shows me at the location I am describing. Use Ivan's Reveal ability here to uncover a wooden pillar. Jump across it and run a few feet to find Flash chilling in the sand by a cave entrance. A very important cave entrance at that! This cave leads to the red tornado shown in my first screen shot.

Those of you curious, the red tornado will take you to Crossbone Isle which is an optional dungeon that has a bunch of goodies in it as well as another Djinni. It'll take awhile to complete and it's recommended that you be at least level 25+ before entering.

I recommend you come back to this location just before starting the next lighthouse. There's a few extremely easy Djinni for you to collect that'll make a huge difference with tackling the optional dungeon.

(25) Bane - Venus Djinni (Crossbone Island)

Bane is found within the massive side quest dungeon known as Crossbone Isle. You can reach this island by taking the red tornado in the Suhalla Desert which you can access by following the cave that's directly behind the previous Djinni we found, Flash. If you need help finding the Crossbone Isle entrance I recommend you read my walkthrough for the previous Djinni.

Once on Crossbone Island you'll need to venture into the Mountain Pass and then inside of a cave which you uncover with Ivan's Whirlwind ability. This cave has seven different floors filled with puzzles each with a few different treasure chests for you to collect on each which aren't required for progression.

The Djinni that we're searching for is found on the sixth floor of the dungeon but he annoyingly runs away from you a few times as you try to catch him. The first location you find him is shown in my screen shot above and to the left. From this location he drops to the ledge below which is blocked by a pillar.

To reach him here you'll need to drop the wooden pillar south of Bane's position down to the floor below and freeze the puddle into a pillar for you. Your room should look like my second screen shot shown above. After he runs from you this time finding him the next two times is extremely simple.

Eventually you chase him to the first part of this room which is shown in my screen shot just below. Here, he'll play ring around the rosie with you unless you use the Halt Psynergy on him and stop his movements. Doing this will allow you to successfully catch him.

(26) Dew - Mercury Djinni (Suhalla Gate)

Dew is quite an easy Djinni considering it's one of the last ones for you to collect; you almost can't even miss him! Towards the end of Suhalla Gate just before the cave entrance you'll come across a cliff side with multiple areas for you to drop down.

When you zone into this area you'll want to slide down the third drop down area on the cliff. This will drop you right next to the Djinni as shown in my screen shots.

 

(27) Torch - Mars Djinni (Lalivero)

Torch is a fairly simple Djinni for you to acquire. Once you make it to Lalivero climb to the top of the Weapons/Armor building and jump to the golden colored wall. If you're confused about what I am talking about, reference the above screen shots.

Once ontop the wall make your way around the town until you find yourself at the building the wall ends on. From here you can jump across to the building the the Djinni and easily grab him.

 

(28) Luff - Jupiter Djinni (Babi's Lighthouse)

Luff is the final Djinni for us to find in the game and he's found at the entrance of Babi's Lighthouse. What you need to do is go down the open hole near the entrance and move the pillar one block to the left. Return to the surface and move the pillar on the opposite side to unveil another hole.

Go down and move the next pillar over to the left one spot too so that it looks like my screen shot above. This will give you access to the area shown in the next screen shot; where you'll want to use Growth on the vine which will lead you to a large open room with multiple areas for you to slide down into a room below.

There's only a single place for you to drop down at on this side of the room and if you take that drop down it'll place you right next to Luff! That's all there is to it - make sure after you drop down before you talk to him you're prepared for a fight!
