D-Pad: Move left, right, up, or down
A button: Punch or confirm selection
B button: Kick or cancel selection
L button: Jump
R button: Pick up weapon or item
Select button: Switch between characters (in 2-player mode)
Start button: Pause game

 

Button Combinations

Jump kick: Press L and B buttons simultaneously
Jump punch: Press L and A buttons simultaneously
Elbow attack: Press B button twice quickly
Uppercut: Press A button twice quickly
Headbutt: Press A and B buttons simultaneously
Roundhouse kick: Press forward on D-Pad and B button simultaneously
Spin kick: Press forward on D-Pad and A button simultaneously

Double-tap left or right on the D-pad: Run
Attack button while running: Running attack
Attack button while jumping: Jumping attack
Press jump button again while in the air: Double jump
Attack button while crouching: Low attack
Down and attack button: Upper attack
Up and attack button: Overhead attack
Left or right and attack button: Side kick
Up and jump button: Flying kick
Down and jump button: Low jump kick
Left or right and jump button: Backflip kick
Block button while standing still: Guard
Block button while moving: Roll dodge
Attack button while guarding: Counter-attack
