Brother Island - TDS Leveling Guide
Brother Island is one of the most popular TDS locations since it's the only Tier 2 zone you can access without flags. It also has some decent camps as well as a rare chance at getting a 30 Purity aug (Purity of Chastity) from hunting here. The large blue circle on my map above is the most common places that I see people camping at here.
From this location you can pull Lidia the Castaway who drops Token of the Waveswept; a decent tank aug for this expansion and a few more to come! Aside from Lidia you have Mulchmother and Redstreak which are in the vicinity for you to pull too if you have an exceptionally good group.
The nameds and what they drop are all listed below, although the loot you get from the named enemies here is unlikely to be very valuable. It's all Prestige gear which means an unsubscribed player is unable to use it. That greatly decreases its overall value.
Mulchmother: Mulch Fiber Belt, Oaken Knuckledusters
Lidia the Castaway: Token of the Waveswept, Lost Light of the House
Redstreak: Ocean's Wrath Axe, Parrot Feathered Short Cape
South Point Latcher: Dagger of Sinister Waters, Orange Chitin Shoulder Guards
Angry Alfred: Alfred's Stolen Spear, Vine Runed Ring of the Angered
Along with all of the items mentioned for each of these named enemies; they also have a chance of dropping.. Minor, Median, Lesser, Greater, Glowing Briny Essences. These items are the Rank 2 Spell Runes of The Darkened Sea expansion pack. Ontop of these items the nameds you find will also drop Tideworn Armor.
This is the Tier 2 armor for TDS and is made in a similar fashion to the Castaway Armor which I have a guide for.
Additional Information
- You do not need to complete any progression to access Brother Island. In order to reach Brother Island you need to take the boat from Tempest Temple; for more information head over to my How to Get to Brother Island Guide.
- There are four sets of collectibles in this zone that you can find belonging to the Island Fragments Achievement.
- Purity of Chastity is an extremely rare zone-wide 30 Purity Aug drop.
