The Bee Queen is one of the easiest bosses for you to fight in Don't Starve Together and probably the first boss I would recommend players tackle. On this page I will give you a couple of different strategies that you can use to defeat this boss and explain a little bit about her and what to expect.

In order to fight the Bee Queen you'll first need to locate the Gigantic Beehive on your world and then smash it with a Hammer until she spawns. Bee Queen has 22,500 HP and will spawn adds called Grumble Bees during the fight. This fight has multiple phases and the Bee Queen's behaviour will change depending on what phase the fight is in. Before you decide to challenge this boss the first thing you should do is figure out the strategy that you want to use. I've included a little bit of information about each popular strategy that is used against the Bee Queen.

Tank & Spank: Equip a Beekeeper's Hat and some Marble Armor then hold down the F key and whack away at the Bee Queen until she is dead. The damage reduction between these items is insane and you will be taking about 1 damage per hit. You will need multiple Marble Armor and multiple Beekeeper's Hats to do this method - you will also need to kite a tad bit to deal with the Grumble Bees.

Bunnymen: This is a very costly method but also one that is extremely easy. For this strategy all you need to do is make 25 - 30 Rabbit Hutch around the Gigantic Beehive and then summon the Bee Queen. I strongly recommend you give he Bunnies Football Helmets or Beekeeper's Hats to reduce the damage they take.

Kiting:

Catapults: You'll need Winona to use this strategy since catapults are one of the survivor specific items that only she can make. However, once the catapults and generators are created any player on the server can use them simply by fueling the generator. I made a total of 14 catapults and 2 generators but that is probably overkill for this boss. 7 - 10 catapults is probably all you'd need depending on how much you participate in the battle.

Deerclops:

 

 

Other Tips & Tricks:

- Build an Ice Box close to where you fight the Bee Queen and put some food in there prior to engaging the boss. You will very likely need to regain Hunger, Health and Sanity during this fight depending on what strategy you use.
