Outward Guides and Walkthroughs

<Map Location> OR <Conflux Mountain>

information about Chersonese

Chersonese is the first and easiest regions in the game that new players will come across. New players should spend a lot of time farming this zone for money since it's rich in resources and you'll need a lot of money to purchase skills, equipment and weapons in this game. In the central portion of Chersonese you'll find the Conflux Mountain which is one of the most notable areas in the zone. Here is where your characters will likely unlock mana the first time by completing one of the 3 dungeons on the mountain.

There are 2 different seasons that you'll experience in Chersonese, Winter and Autumn. When you first begin the game it'll be during the Autumn season and after about 15 days go by it'll switch to Winter which is the more annoying of the 2 seasons. During Winter you'll need to carry around items like Gaberry Jam, Gaberry Tartine or Bitter Spicy Tea to give yourself some Cold Weather Defense.

Additionally, going out of your way to get the Warm Boon is highly recommended since it'll help you survive the Winter season in this zone even easier. For more information about where to get the Warm Boon and every other Boon I recommend you check out my Where to get all Boons in Outward page.

Blue Chamber's Conflux Path: The Blue Chamber's Conflux Path is a (mostly) maze dungeon with a bunch of enemies inside. It's possible to skip most of the enemies and run straight to the exit if you know where you're going. As far as enemies go mostly all you're going to fight inside of here is Troglydtes unless you go off the beaten path in which case you'll find Mantis enemies as well as a Dinosaur enemy. Compared to the other Conflux dungeons this one is probably the middle of the road in terms of difficulty. If you'd like to see a video walkthrough of this dungeon and how to get through it check out my Outward Blue Chamber's Conflux Path Youtube Video _______________________________________________

Heroic Kingdom's Conflux Path:

Holy Mission's Conflux Path:

Blister Burrow: Blister Burrow is one of the first dungeons players are meant to explore in the Chersonese region. Speaking with Helen Turnbull in Cierzo will get you the quest Helen's Fungus which requires you to come to this dungeon and obtain the Mushroom Shield from inside, this is a good starter quest to get you acquainted with the game. Inside the dungeon you'll find about a dozen Troglodyte enemies along with numerous containers, mushrooms and mines for the player to gather. At the entrance of the dungeon you'll also find a gem door which requires 2 gems to open, a Small Sapphire and a Tiny Aquamarine.

Corrupted Tombs:

Ghost Pass: The Ghost Pass connects the central portion of Chersonese with the Cabal Hermit portion in the northeast.

Montcalm Clan Fort: The Montcalm Clan Fort is a bandit stronghold found east of Cierzo. Inside this dungeon you can find just over half a dozen Bandits including an Ice Witch and a Bandit Lieutenant; these two enemies are the hardest in the area. The Bandit Lieutenant will drop a Montcalm Key which you can use to open the locked door to the throne room at the top of the fort. Additionally, if you have 2 Power Coils you can use them to open the other locked door in this fort which contains the Mefino's Trade Backpack, one of the best unique backpacks in the game.

Vendavel Fortress:

Vigil Tomb:

Voltaic Hatchery:

Hyena Burrow: Hyena Burrow is a small dungeon that contains one Hyena, an Adventurer's Corpse and a Lantern. The Adventurer's Corpse contains a random variety of low level loot.

Starfish Cave:

Trog Infiltration: Trog Infiltration is one of the misc dungeons in the Chersonese region and only has 2 enemies inside, a Troglodyte Grenadier and Troglodyte Knight along with various loot (including a Trog Chest). Both of the enemies found in this dungeon are quite hard for this region so be wary of entering. You can enter this dungeon one of 2 ways, either through failing the lever puzzle in Vendavel Fortress or through the door in Chersonese.

Mansion's Cellar: Mansion's Cellar is found in the northeastern most portion of Chersonese - a tad bit north of the Cabal of Wind Tower. Inside this dungeon you can find Ghost enemies along with 3 Gaberry Wine and 2 chests; one of which is an Ornate Chest. You'll have to pull the lever near the regular chest to uncover the Ornate Chest.

Bandits' Prison: Bandits' Prison is a very small dungeon found in the south-central portion of the map just a little bit south of Conflux Mountain. There are 2 chests in this dungeon, a normal chest and an Ornate Chest - both of which are behind closed doors. Next to the normal chest you'll find a Wendigo enemy which you'll have to defeat to get the key that unlocks the door to the Ornate Chest.

Hermit's House: Hermit's House aka Cabal of Wind Tower is a location in northeastern Chersonese which you can reach by traveling through the Ghost Pass. Adalbert the Hermit who will teach you the Cabal Hermit skills can be found in this building along with his wife Agatha who is an Alchemy merchant.

Immaculate's Camp:

Pirates' Hideout: Pirates' Hideout is a small dungeon in the southern portion of Chersonese where you can find a unique enemy, Mad Captain's Bones. In the same area as Mad Captain's Bones you can also find a parchment hanging on the wall which will start the Treasure Hunt Side Quest.
