Searing Gorge Mithril Farming

Searing Gorge is a great zone for players to farm Mithril in, much like Burning Steppes rarely anyone ever comes here to farm Mithril and also the zone is abundant with Mithril Deposits. You can't go anymore than a few yards without seeing one or two more pop up on your mini map. Now it may be debated by some people what the perfect path is to farm Mithril out here, but I have found what I think is the perfect path. If you go all around the edges of Searing Gorge you never run out of Mithril Deposits to mine. I don't really like cutting through the middle because then you miss some around the edge and there is plenty of Mithril around the edge.

Also I have noticed that most of the Mithril in the middle of the zone is inside the giant Dark Iron tunnel system which goes through like the northern half of the zone. If you wondered why you saw a bunch of faded Mithril Deposit dots while flying by the southern end of Thorium Point, that is why, they're all down there. I've known some people that go after them but no flying mount down there = not worth it if you ask me. Anyway, before I tell you where all the hotspots are for Mithril Ore here is a map of the path I use for farming it.

If you need to see the bigger version of that map just click on it. Now as promised, the Mithril hot spots are just south of Thorium Point and slightly northeast of Firewatch Ridge. South of Thorium Point I always find a ton of Mithril, usually at least three nodes at any given time. Further west of Thorium Point is Firewatch Ridge. Where you see the little camp on the ridge is where you will find the most Mithril. Around here I usually find a good three or sometimes even four nodes of Mithril.
