Torneko: The Last Hope, developed by Matrix Software and published by Enix, players join the adventures of the chubby merchant Torneko from Dragon Warrior IV. Released on November 16, 2000, this single-player RPG tasks players with ridding the town of monsters. As Torneko, players interact with villagers, gather information, and venture into dungeons where floor plans change with each visit. The game features turn-based combat, over 130 creatures from the Dragon Warrior series, and more than 150 items to aid Torneko on his noble quest.
