Time Crisis is a light gun rail shooter video game developed and published by Namco. It was originally released in Japan on June 27, 1997, and later in North America on November 12, 1997. In Time Crisis, players assume the role of Richard Miller, a special agent tasked with rescuing Rachel MacPherson, the daughter of the V.S.S.E. (Vital Situation, Swift Elimination) organization's leader. The game features fast-paced arcade-style shooting action, where players use a light gun controller to aim and shoot enemies while taking cover to avoid enemy fire.
