Seiken Densetsu 4 developed and published by Squaresoft, was released on July 15, 1999. It's the fourth game in the Seiken Densetsu series and the successor to the highly acclaimed Secret of Mana in the U.S. In the game, players are initially offered a choice between two different characters, a male and female sprite, each with a separate quest to complete.

Additionally, players must decide on their character's primary weapon, ranging from melee weapons like battle-axes and swords to bows and spears. This choice influences the character's statistics and progression throughout the game.
