Samurai Spirits: Zankurou Musouken is the third installment in the renowned 2D fighting game series, Samurai Shodown, developed by SNK and Ukiyotei. Published by SNK, it was released on August 30, 1996, for the PlayStation. The game centers around the antagonist Zankuro Minazuki, known for his extreme brutality as The Demon.

Zankuro's actions include ravaging lands, torturing innocent people, and burning villages to the ground. Players engage in intense battles as various samurai characters, each with their unique fighting styles and abilities.
