Kitchen Panic is an adorable platformer developed and published by Panther Software, released on May 28, 1998. In this game, players control a cute little brown character as they navigate through expansive kitchen levels. The environments are filled with various hazards and obstacles such as gushing tap water, stacks of dishes, serrated knives, tin cans, valuable vegetables, and dangerous soap bubbles.

The unique gameplay mechanic in Kitchen Panic revolves around spin jumps: players can initiate a spin during a jump by pressing up or down, which allows the character to launch themselves either straight up (backspin) or a long way forward (front spin) when they press jump again. Mastering these spin jumps is essential for progressing through the levels and overcoming obstacles.
