Irem Arcade Classics is a video game developed by Irem and published by I'Max. It was released on July 26, 1996. The game features a top-down perspective and vertical scrolling gameplay. The gameplay revolves around American football, where players do not select specific plays for offense or defense. On offense, the player receives the ball upon the snap and can choose to run with the quarterback, pass to running backs, or throw to a long-distance receiver. On defense, the player controls one of two players while the computer controls the rest. Additionally, players can punt the ball or attempt field goals.
