The protagonist of the series is Kagurazaka Yuna, a 16-year-old girl who becomes The Savior of Light after winning a Galactic Bishojo Contest.

She is tasked with defending the universe from evil forces. Yuna possesses a powerful armored suit and has the ability to befriend almost anyone, including her enemies. Throughout her adventures, she gathers a diverse group of comrades, many of whom were former adversaries.
