Old Sebilis (Old Seb)

In order for you to enter Old Sebilis in Kunark you will first need to get the key to Old Seb. To do this you will need to kill a Froglok Hunter and Froglok Forager out in Trakanon's Teeth and turn in the key to Emperor Ganak in the far southern end of the zone. Once you have the key you can head over to Old Sebilis which is in the far southeastern end of the zone.

During Kunark Old Sebilis is one of the most popular zones for leveling and for grouping since a lot of nice items drop here and a lot of named mobs spawn here. For this reason, as you could imagine, it is very important that you get keyed for Old Sebilis as soon as possible. Now, Old Seb can generally support 80 people or so before over crowding starts to become a serious issue but it starts to get annoying around 60 to 70. For this guide I am going to try and break it down into different sections. One for each camp and a little bit about that camp and also just general knowledge on the zone itself.

Camp 7 - Juggs

This camp is named Juggs because the main mobs that inhabit it are Sebilite Juggernauts. More often than not people come here for the higher level spells that drop over the actual XP but if you get a good group going the XP can roll in quite easily. Only two nameds spawn at this camp, Sebilite Protector, Tolapumj and of course Trakanon if you wanna count him too, but that is just silly. As I mentioned before, this location is most commonly come to for all the high level spells

Camp 8 - King

Probably the most well known camp in all of Kunark. At this camp the Fungi Tunic is dropped by the Myconid Spore King which is one of the best twinking items money can buy. Or at least was until Defiant came along. The King camp is one of the hardest camps in the entire zone, if not thee hardest. You will need a high level group of players to easily handle this camp.

Random Zone Drops (Some)

Now there are some random mob drops in Old Sebilis. This means that they dont drop from a named but still have a chance to drop here. In addition to the random items that drop I will go over some of the other loot as well. Some of the stuff you will be seeing on almost every mobs or every other mob. That way you know what is actually vendor trash and what to keep!

Nodding Blue Lily - They might not be selling for much now but hold onto them until the Alchemy gets switched back around. I can make some good money with these things on normal servers by just loading my trader up with them.

Valuable Gems - Valuable gems are fairly common in Old Sebilis, usually every third or fourth mob will drop a gem worth over 50pp or more. Groups tend to do Alpha when it comes to handing out gem or others just say loot whatever just don't be greedy. Since gems are becoming much more common since now just groups can get them it is not a bad idea to vendor the gem. Before you would try and find a Jewelcrafter to buy it from you but now they can farm the gems so easily they would prefer not to go through the trouble.
