Beastlord AAs

This entire page will show you all of the AAs available to each class taken directly from their lists in game. I will try to keep this as accurate as possible but it is rather hard to tweak all the guides on my website with each passing expansion. So as for now I know that this list is updated up to House of Thule. Over time I may add bits of information under each AA to help new players out, if you would like to submit any information to me for this process my email can be found on the Submit A Guide section at the bottom of each of my guides.

General Archetype Class Special

Archetype

Armor of Wisdom 0/10

This passive ability reflects your vast experience and grants you an additional amount of innate protection in the form of boosted armor class. Additional ranks further boost your Armor Class.

If you are a big time soloer then this is a must since you will be taking a lot of the hits. If you do more grouping and you usually don't take many hits then you will want to hold off on getting this AA.

Burst of Power 0/9

Each rank will increase your max skill cap for triple attack by 5 points.

A great boost to DPS and a must grab for Beastlord's when they get around that level.

Combat Fury 0/6

This ability increases your chance to land a critical hit. Non-Warriors will nearly match the original critical hit abilities of Warriors, while Warriors will remain significantly ahead of other classes.

As you could imagine this is a crucial AA. It isn't that significant of a damage boost at first but as you start getting higher up in it you'll notice crits popping up left and right.

Companion's Alacrity 0/3

This passive ability will increase the chance that your companion has to execute a flurry of attacks when in combat. Additional ranks increase the chance that your companion will flurry.

Another super big boost in damage from a small AA chain. This is another must grab when you get into that level range.

Companion's Blessing 0/12

Bless your companion with an enduring heal that will last for one minute and heal for increasing amounts of health. Each rank increases the amount your companion is healed for.

Companion's Durability 0/12

Increases the hitpoints of your companion by 1,3 and 5 percent for the first three ranks and 7, 9 and 11 percent for the final three ranks.

Good for those that solo and let their pets do most of the tanking.

Companion's Fury 0/3

This passive ability will grant a chance for your companion to score a critical hit when attacking via melee. Additional ranks increase the chance of a critical hit.

Crucial pet DPS AA.

Critical Affliction 0/9

This ability grants damage-over-time spells the chance to have a critical effect each tick they are active. Additional ranks improve this chance.

Good AA for bonus damage.

Destructive Fury 0/9

This ability increases the strength of your critical spell hits, causing them to do more damage.

Good AA for bonus damage.

Divine Companion Aura 0/1

The gods empower you to render your pet invulnerable for a short period of time.

Double Riposte 0/6

The first three ranks of this ability will give you an increased chance to execute a Double Riposte 15, 35, and 50 perfect of the time. Additional Ranks further increase this effect.

Enhanced Aggression 0/30

Each rank of this ability increases the maximum amount of attack you can gain from items.

Good if you're capped on Attack.

Expansive Mind 0/30

This ability raises the maximum that your mana regeneration can be increased with items by 1 point per rank.

Fear Resistance 0/3

This ability grants you a resistance bonus to fear type spells of 5, 10, and 25 percent. It also increases the chance of breaking fear earlier.

Finishing Blow 0/26

This ability gives you a chance to finish off an NPC that is below 10% health and fleeing with a single blow. Additional ranks increase the maximum level of affected NPC. (Non-Warriors must train one level of Combat Fury to use this ability.)

Forceful Rejuventation 0/1

By activating this ability you will feel refreshed and many of your spell casting timers will be reset, allowing you to instantly use the refreshed abilities.

Fortify Companion 0/9

Reduce the damage your pet takes from damage shields when striking a foe with the off hand as well as provides a small amount of evasion and mitigates the effects of melee and spell damage, up to a point.

Fury of Magic 0/15

This ability further increases your chance to score a critical hit with your direct damage spells.

An extremely useful AA to have as, like it says, increases your chance to crit with spells. For almost any class that uses spells (even hybrids) you will find a great DPS boost from this AA.

Gift of Amazing Exquisite Radiant Mana 0/1

Whenever you cast a level 81 or higher spell that heals or harms someone, this ability grants you an innate chance for the next level 85 or lower spell you cast to only cost a single point of mana. Note that you only have a brief time to make use of the benefits of this ability before it fades away.

Here is a little bit on how the Gift of Mana AA works.

Say you cast a spell such as a nuke on an enemy and it procs this ability. What happens now is your next spell will only cost 1 mana! You can cast an ability close in level to the one you just casted which will deal full damage for only a single point of mana. In order to use the proc (which appears in your Songs window) you must at least have enough mana available to you to normally cast the spell. Let's say the spell costs 1k mana and you have 995 currently. Despite the proc lowering it to 1 mana you will still need at least 1k to cast it. Odd, maybe a bug, who knows.

Gift of Mana is a great AA for bonus damage and also a great AA for mana conservation on all classes that cast spells. Without this AA you will be going OOM much faster than you would with it.

Gift of Dreamlike Exquisite Radiant Mana 0/1

Whenever you cast a level 86 or higher spell that heals or harms someone, this ability grants you an innate chance for the next level 90 or lower spell you cast to only cost a single point of mana. Note that you only have a brief time to make use of the benefits of this ability before it fades away.

Whenever you cast a level 65 to 70 spell that heals or harms someone, this ability grants you an innate chance for the next level 70 or lower spell you cast after that to only cost a single point of mana. Additional ranks increase the chance of this occuring. Note that you only have a brief time to make use of the benefits of this ability before it fades away.

Chances are by the time you start down the Gift of Mana line this AA here will be completely useless to you. However this AA is required to unlock the entire Gift of Mana line from now till forever. Gift of Radiant Mana 0/1

Whenever you cast a level 71 or higher spell that heals or harms someone, this ability grants you an innate chance for the next level 75 or lower spell you cast to only cost a single point of mana. Note that you only have a brief time to make use of the benefits of this ability before it fades away.

This ability grants your group a perfected ability to Levitate on demand.

This ability decreases the amount of time required between uses of Companion's Blessed by 60 seconds per rank.

Hastened Forceful Rejuvenation 0/6

This ability reduces the amount of time required between uses of Forceful Rejuvenation by 3 minutes for ranks 1, 2 and 3. Ranks 4, 5 and 6 reduce this time by 6 minutes per rank.

Hastened Fortify Companion 0/6

This passive ability will decrease the amount of time you must wait between uses of your Fortify Companion. Ranks 1, 2 and 3 reduce the reuse time by two minutes per rank. Ranks, 4, 5 and 6 further reduce this time by 3 minutes per rank.

Healing Adept 0/15

The first three ranks of this ability increase the maximum effectiveness of your healing spells by 2, 5 and 10%. Additional ranks increase the maximum effectiveness of your healing by an additional 3 percent per rank.

This is probably one of the most important AAs you can possibly have for a class that heals frequently. Druids, Shamans and Clerics will want to max this line out asap as it will greatly improve their effectiveness in groups.

Healing Gift 0/24

The first three ranks of this ability grant you a chance to score an exceptional heal at 3, 6 and 10 percent. Additional ranks up to rank 15 further increase the chance by 2 percent per rank. Rank 16+ increase this chance by 1 percent per rank. An exceptional heal doubles the healing value of the spell.

Hybrid Research 0/10

Each rank will increase your max skill cap for research by 10 points.

Mastery of the Past 0/20

This ability makes it impossible for you to fizzle spells up to a certain level.

Mental Clarity 0/28

This ability increases your natural mana regeneration by 1 point per ability level.

Mental Stamina 0/15

This passive ability will add fifty mana per rank to your mana total.

Mnemonic Retention 0/4

This ability gives you an additional spell slot so you can memorize an additional spell.

Very useful AA for casters and even hybrids that should be gotten very early on to expand the spellbar.

Natural Healing 0/3

This ability raises your natural regeneration by one point per ability level.

Perfected Levetation 0/1

This ability grants you the perfected ability to Levitate on demand.

Useful if you're too lazy to mem a Levitate spell every time you need it or don't like carrying Reagents.

Persistent Casting 0/12

Your highly developed concentration creates the possibility of continuing to cast spells while stunned. Increased ranks in this ability increase the chance that your spells will not be interrupted by stuns.

Persistent Minion 0/1

This ability upgrades your Suspend Minion ability to allow pets to remain suspended across zone lines. Also, if you camp with a suspended pet and have this ability, the pet will be available to you when you return.

Pet Affinity 0/1

This ability makes your summoned pets a valid target for beneficial group spells.

Quick Buff 0/3

This ability reduces the casting time of many beneficial spells that have a duration by 10, 25, and 50 percent.

This ability grants you the chance to fully block an attack when using a shield. Increased ranks improve the chance to block attacks.

This ability decreases the amount of damage you take when your offhand attacks encounter a damage shield.

Slippery Attacks 0/5

This ability makes it more difficult for opponents to riposte your offhand attacks. Each rank increases the chance that your opponent will fail to riposte by 20%.

The three ranks of this ability give you a 2, 4, and 7 percent change to land critical hits with your direct damage spells.

This ability lowers the mana cost of spells by 2, 5, 10, and 15 percent.

Spell Casting Reinforcement 0/5

This ability increases the duration of beneficial spells that you cast. Ranks 1, 2, and 3 increase the duration by 5, 15, and 30 percent respectively. Each additional rank increases the duration by 20%.

This ability grants you a faster casting version of your Summon Companion spell.

Suspend Minion 0/2

This ability grants the summoner the ability to suspend and recall their existing pet at will, provided they remain in the current zone. The first rank suspends the pet at its current health only, while the second rank suspends the pet with all of its beneficial effects as well as its weapons and armor. You may cast a second pet while your first pet is Suspended. You may train the first rank upon reaching level 62 and the second rank upon reaching level 64.

This passive ability will give you a small innate chance to perform a twincast each time you cast a healing spell. Each rank gives you a 1 percent chance to twincast. This will not affect healing over time spells.

Each rank in this ability increases the damage you cause when you land a critical hit on a melee attack. This ability does not affect special attacks.
