SoF Everquest Farming Locations

As with many of the expansions before it, one of the most profitable things for you to farm during the Secrets of Faydwer expansion pack is the non Prestige Attuneable gear which drops from named enemies throughout the expansion pack.

Unlike the OoW Attuneable Gear and TSS Attuneable Gear, SoF Attuneable gear will never go out of style on servers with regular loot rules because it picks up where Elaborate Defiant gear leaves off. Almost every single player who levels up through Everquest equips themselves with a bunch of the gear dropped from this expansion.

Again, I would like to reiterate that players on Firiona Vie and Brekt, or any server with an alternative ruleset like those two servers, will not find these locations to be as profitable as regular servers will. This guide is made primarily with regular servers in mind since they have NO DROP gear it makes gearing for them a lot more difficult.

The best zones for players to farm in the Secrets of Faydwer expansion pack for Attuneable gear is Dragonscale Hills and Fortress Mechanotus. You can also hunt Hills of Shade and Bloodmoon Keep for Attuneable gear but some of the stuff that drops in those zones is also NO DROP and those zones are also much more annoying than DSH and Fort Mech.

 

Solo/Duoers & Small Groups

 

Dragonscale Hills - The animals in Dragonscale Hills all make easy targets which smaller groups or well geared solo players can easily take out. If you're really well geared and with a smaller group you'll be able to take out the robot enemies in DSH too - they're pretty tough but a lot of nameds can spawn in their clusters.

Loping Plains -

 

Full Groups & Boxers

Fortress Mechanotus - Up at the top of the fortress there's a few camps where you can pull more than one named. They'll make the best locations

Bloodmoon Keep - Really anywhere in this zone. There's quite a few rooms with multiple nameds, not all of the gear dropped is Attuneable but about half of it is and it's some of the best/most valuable stuff of the expansion. Not much vendor trash in here.
