Dragon's Bane

Dragon's Bane is a High Elf and Dark Elf Tier 4 scenario. In order to play this scenario "Dragonwake" must be contested. Dragon's Bane is a Domination type scenario. There are 3 capturable objectives and two bombs, one for destruction and one for order. The first team to reach 500 points, or the team with the most points after 15 minutes wins.

Number of players: 18 v 18
Hold an Objective: 1 point per tick
Kill an Enemy: 2 Points
Duration: 15 Minutes
Levels: 28 - 40

 

Things to Keep In Mind

- You will get 1 point per tick, per objective that you hold.

- In each base (Order and Destro) there is an NPC that will port you to any of the 3 bases that you hold.

- You can use the bomb in Dragon's Bane to help you capture any of the 3 bases

 

Strategies

Rush: The most common strategy to use is have everyone on your team rush the central objective. Capture this and push the order back to their spawn. Once you've done this have a few people back track and capture the other two objectives.

Spread: Have 4 people go to the northern objective, and 4 to the southern. Have everyone else go to the central objective.

Tanks: You have no specific role in this scenario, just get within capping range of the flag, as quickly as possible.

Melee DPS: Same as tanks, if you see a low level healer, or bright wizard you have my personal permission to leave the flag and teach him his lesson =P.

Ranged DPS: Pick off anyone the melee are on, or distract the enemies healers from a distance

Healers: No specific heal order, try your best to keep everyone up.

 

Maximizing Renown

This scenario is fairly easy to get a lot of renown in. The rate at which the bases give you VP's is very fast, so even if you control one base the whole game, you will still end with 300 VP's. This is also a great scenario to go rambo and take out all the stragglers or lower levels.
