Leveling A Guild In Warhammer Online

Leveling a guild in Warhammer can be a tedious, but very necessary task. Many questions are also raised of what is the fastest way, what generates the best XP and what defines an "Active Member". A lot of these questions will be answered in this guide.

Acquiring XP for A Guild

Getting XP for the guild is quite simple. Every member will "tithe" a certain amount of XP per kill, scenario, public quest and regular quest that they complete. The player himself will not lose any XP. Another way the guild gains XP is from keeps. Keeps generate the most XP for a guild, however a guild must be a certain rank in order to hold a keep.

Some say that taxes out the ass also effect how the guild levels. This has never been proven nor confirmed by Mythic. The one thing that was confirmed by Mythic however was Active players highly effect the guilds XP. Which leads me into my next topic of discussion, an active player.

What Is An Active Player?

There has been no confirmation on what exactly defines an "Active Player". Through some testing from many people from almost every server, the only thing that has ever been perfectly proven is someone being online. Anyone offline, is an Inactive Player. Through rigorous testing it has been confirmed that keeping the guild very small and kicking anyone who logs off you will gain the most XP.

Of course I don't recommend this, since it will be a huge pain in the ass but if you want to level a guild as fast as possible, this IS the best method. When someone goes offline, or AFK remove them from the guild. When someone is online have them grinding PQ's or Instances, this has been tested and proven to be the best XP.

It has also been proven that the more people online, the less % everyone contributes. So say one person is online 100% of what he does gets contributed to the guild. Say 10 people are online, 10% of what they do is contributed to the guild. It is currently uncertain of how an offline player hinders this.

The only thing that is 100% certain is if someone isn't doing something, online or offline. They are hindering the guild. Currently the fastest leveling guild was able to do rank 17 in a week by kicking anyone who went offline or AFK for more then 5minutes.

F.A.Q

Q: Does how many people you have in a guild effect how much XP the guild gets?

A: Yes, the amount of people does have an effect. It seems however that its separated into Tiers. With this said, the "tier" under 100, is the best. What I mean is have 99 or less members to gain the best XP.

Q: If my a group of my guildies completed a PQ would it give XP to the guild as a group or for each individual player?

A: Each individual player will contribute to the group. The whole groups effort will not benefit.

Q: If I hold a keep for a long time, will I gain more XP over time?

A: Yes, the longer you hold the keep the more XP you will gain. (Need a confirmation)

Q: Do certain keeps give more XP than others? If so which ones give you more XP?

A: Certain keeps do give you more XP. The closer you get to your enemies capital the more XP a keep will give you. Also the higher tier it is of course effects how much XP a keep gives. T4 gives the most followed by T3 and T2.

Conclusion

It's your decision of how you want to level a guild, quickly and efficiently and strain with kicking everyone or slowly and just have fun.
