Main Quest #1 - South Wizard Tower Following In The Footsteps
Ever since you've arrived in this world you've felt a strong magical presence pulling you to the south. If you focus long enough on this feeling you can envision a tall tower without stairs, atop it sits a rock and a small cabin. Attached to this mental image conjured in your head is a message, "Come to me and you'll find the answers that you seek"
Quest Description:
I am the presence that you've felt ever since you entered into this world. Much like yourself, me and my people were pulled into this world many years ago. Some of my people retained memories of their past life, if you can even call it that. We are a race known as the Aluvians and we lived on a world known as Dereth for many years. At some point, for reasons we're unaware of, we were stripped from our native home and transported to this world.
When we first arrived here it was chaotic and many lives were lost from the enemy attacks and from careless lumberjacking. During those first few days people from our world were constantly showing up, everyone brought by the same raven, Hugin. Our first year in this world was... fun... if you can call it that. We all teamed up and defeated Eikthyr, the lightning deer and hung his head up on the Sacrifical Stones. Hugin granted us a power that allowed us to run further and jump more often without getting tired.
It wasn't until the end of the first year when our feelings about this world started to change... We started to realize that our women were not able to get pregnant; many families were trying to have kids but no one was successful. This became an even greater concern because we kept losing people to the dangers of this world. Greydwarfs were not very dangerous but the Draugr and Goblins killed at least 2 people a month.
We built a small village to the east of this Wizard Tower in the Meadows that had walls high enough to keep almost all enemies out. It was in this village that we spent the next few decades of our lives. During these years we noticed many changes throughout this world. Monsters grew in both power and numbers all throughout the world. Due to our inability to replenish our numbers we chose isolationism and hid from the growing dangers.
My people have long since died out and only I remain, my physical form may have died many years ago but I am able to still speak to you through my spirit which is bound to this location. Now that you know my past I will tell you my reason for bringing you here. You, much like myself were brought to this world and are now stuck here. While I can not provide you with a solution on how to escape I can share with you all the information I have about the inhabitants of this world.
To the north, east and west you'll find additional Wizard Towers. Each of these locations will have quests for you along with weapons and armor that will help you defeat the enemies of this world.
Reward: Shields, Location of an abandoned town & Locations of other Wizard Towers
