This page is the index page for the first ever Valheim Event Server that I produced, Following in the Footsteps. On this server you'll find over 4 dozen different events scattered throughout the world which will have harder than normal enemies as well as unique loot that you can't normally obtain ingame. I have also created a Main Story Quest for players to follow on this server along with numerous Side Quests, all of which have a story to tell with unique rewards at the end.

A fair warning to everyone who plans to play on this server, it will be harder than your typical Valheim server! One of my only gripes about Valheim as a whole is that there really is no end game. Which makes sense since it's still early access! After you collect all the best gear and have explored each Biome there is nothing else to do except start over. When I designed this server that is the one goal that I aimed to achieve, I wanted to make the Valheim experience last longer overall by making it more difficult to 'beat' the game and I wanted to make something to do after having beat the game so that players would have an actual end game.

For this reason you'll notice many changes in this Valheim world such as the oceans and biomes near event locations being a little more dangerous. All boss spawners will also have additional enemies spawned at them to make you 'work for it' a bit more when it comes to advancing to the next boss. I've designed everything so that a player can solo it if they're careful or smart with their actions. Pulling enemies away instead of running in like a madman or destroying the environment will typically net you victory.

List of changes you'll notice in Valheim for The Adventure #1: Following in the Footsteps

- Custom made Story Quests & Side Quests which are designed to 'fit in' with the overall lore and theme of the game

- Areas around boss spawners are made harder

- Areas in 'event biomes' are harder than usual

- Some resources are gone from biomes that abandoned bases are found in.... However those abandoned bases are treasure troves with resources for you to find and take! Those of you who look very carefully in the bases will be rewarded even further...
