The Achaean Pass - Act 4 Side Quest

Objective: Protect the camp from the 3 waves of enemies

The Achaean Pass is a Side Quest which begins during Act 4 by speaking with Ajax at the Delian Meadows. In order to begin this quest you'll first need to complete Flight of the Messenger, an easy quest which only requires you to escort someone to Ajax.

After you've spoken with Ajax you'll need to speak with Idomeneus a little bit to the north to update the quest again and to pick up the group of soldiers that will assist you in the upcoming fight. This group of soldiers will stay with you even after you completed the quest until they die or you log out.

Note: The soldiers you're given do not need to survive or even participate in the fight for this quest.

For the first part of this quest you will need to escort these men to Achaean Pass and speak with Menelaus when you arrive. Speak with Menelaus a second time when you are ready to defend the camp from 3 waves of enemies. Enemies will attack from the north and east in two packs. Your goal is to make sure Menelaus doesn't die and the flag in the center of the camp still stands.

When the Siege Striders spawn during the 2nd wave they should be your first priority as they can deal a lot of fire damage to the ghosts you're fighting with. Aside from those enemies the rest are pretty easy for you to handle.
