Armormech Crew Skill Guide
Armormech deals with hard metals and electronic shielding to construct armor for non-force users (Meaning Smugglers and Troopers for Republic and Imperial Agents and Bounty Hunters for Empire). Also, Armormechs are also able to reverse engineer the armor they craft (Reverse Engineering is like the Disenchanting of Swtor). Players looking to gather their own materials for Armormech will want to have the gathering crew skill Scavenging and the mission crew skill Underworld Trading.
As of patch 1.2 Armormechs are able to create the best PvP Gear in the game for all four aforementioned classes. At first glance the gear is exactly the same but when you take into consideration the ability to "crit" with crafting and adding an Augment slot into the PvP Gear; it makes the outcome better than what you would otherwise be able to buy with Warzone Commendations. So, if you are looking for a profession that will allow you to make the absolute best gear for your class, look no further!
