Southsun Cove Skale & Young Karka Farming Location
There are a few different good farming locations in Southsun Cove, most of which are so overly camped you are fighting to get a spawn almost the entire time you're there. However this farming location seldom has a lot of people here and gives the same loot as the other farming locations here which have you killing the wildlife. Around the other island to the southeast you have Reef Skelk but it is too camped there to make it worth farming.
Over here though the Skale give you pretty much the same loot you would get from the Skelk and there is rarely as many people here as there are at the Skelk. Also in this location you can also kill a few Karka in your rotation for a chance at some Karka Shells which don't sell as well as they used too but still sell. Before the Secrets of Southsun patch I would tell you that this was a rather subpar location and you can make much better money in many different locations.
However they added an insanely good Magic Find buff that only works while you're in Southsun. This buff increases your Magic Find by so much it's almost crazy to farm anywhere else now!
