Centaur Slayer Achievement Guide

The Centaur Slayer Achievement is one of the easiest Slayer achievements to do. In fact if you know you're going to level more than one character and do Map Completion on at least one of them you may get Centaur Slayer without having to grind for it straight out. It really is that easy to acquire! Now as you may already know there are Centaurs in many different zones, usually Kryta zones however they have been spotted elsewhere, like Snowden Drifts.

For this guide though you will be farming Centaurs in one of two locations. The first location and the one I recommend to farm is any Centaur camp in Harathi Hinterlands. Seriously, literally any Centaur camp will work great. If you are unfamiliar where a lot of the Centaur Camps are at in Harathi Hinterlands fear not! Below this paragraph is a picture of a map which has all of the Centaur Camps circled. You will need to click on the picture to enlarge it, of course, however after that it is pretty easy to follow

Now the reason I say you can farm at any of these Centaur Camps is because in all honesty it really doesn't matter where you kill them at, you're still working towards your Slayer Achievement. The reason I chose the Centaurs in Harathi Hinterlands over lower level Centaurs in say Queensdale is because of the loot. The loot out in Harathi is so much more valuable than Queensdale there really isn't a point to hunt there. Now you may say 'I don't care about loot, I want my achievement gosh darnit!' in which case I will tell you, then go to Queensdale you n00b!

Getting good loot which will net you some extra gold should always be a priority over efficiency. It may take 5 - 10 minutes longer to get done the achievement out in Harathi but you will make 4 - 5x more gold doing it here than in a completely inefficient place such as Queensdale. Also since I like this spot just as much as Harathi, here is a picture of where you can find the Centaurs in Gendarren Fields too.
