Wrath: Weapon Rune Word - Diablo 2

Wrath is a Missile Weapons only Weapon Rune Word which is generally overlooked by players since it doesn't offer any +Enhanced Damage like other Rune Words such as Faith. Overlooking this Rune Word would be a mistake, however, since it comes with Crushing Blow which does a % of the monsters total HP in damage--making +Enhanced Damage way less useful anyway.

Additionally, Wrath comes with huge damage bonuses to Demons and Undead, which are the majority of enemies you'll be fighting anyway. Ontop of these bonuses Wrath also has a Decrepify proc (increases damage taken by the enemy) along with Cannot be Frozen which will free up a ring slot since you won't need to use Ravenfrost anymore.

Keep in mind that all Rune Words you create will retain any pre-existing bonuses found on the item. If you find a 'Superior' piece of armor with +Enhanced Defense, a Superior Weapon with +Enhanced Damage or a Helm/Weapon that has +Skill bonuses for a certain class, all of these will remain on the final Rune Word that is created. Farming High Runes: Out of all locations in the game one stands above the rest for farming specifically High Runes, the Countess during Act 1.
