Lawbringer: Weapon Rune Word - Diablo 2
Lawbringer is a bit deceptive of a Rune Word since it doesn't offer any +% Enhanced Damage it is often over looked by most players. However, this Rune Word is exceptionally powerful against Undead enemies in particular due to the Sanctuary Aura and Decrepify proc. The Decrepify proc itself almost makes up for the lack of Enhanced Damage on this weapon.
Slain Monsters Rest in Peace is another affix on this weapon and this is an extremely unique and rare affix that is only on a few items in the entire game. What it does is when you kill an enemy, their corpse can not be used for anything. For bosses like Nihlathak who blow up all the corpses of enemies in the room, this item will help a lot because he'll no longer be able to do that.
The Fire and Cold Damage on this weapon shouldn't be overlooked either as it will help you counter enemies with Physical immunities. You can also put a Lawbringer Rune Word on a weapon and give it to an Act 5 Barbarian Mercenary to take out the Physical immune for you.
Keep in mind that all Rune Words you create will retain any pre-existing bonuses found on the item. If you find a 'Superior' piece of armor with +Enhanced Defense, a Superior Weapon with +Enhanced Damage or a Helm/Weapon that has +Skill bonuses for a certain class, all of these will remain on the final Rune Word that is created. Farming High Runes: Out of all locations in the game one stands above the rest for farming specifically High Runes, the Countess during Act 1.
