Fortitude: Weapon Rune Word - Diablo 2

Fortitude is not the most popular Weapon Rune Word out there mostly because there are so many better than it; it is however one of the more popular Armor Rune Words available for melee builds. It doesn't matter if you put Fortitude in your Weapon or Armor it'll come with +300% Enhanced Damage either way.

For this reason it is one of the best Chest Armor Rune Words available for any build that wants to boost their melee damage as much as possible. If you'd like to learn more about Fortitude in Chest Armor follow the link provided.

Keep in mind that all Rune Words you create will retain any pre-existing bonuses found on the item. If you find a 'Superior' piece of armor with +Enhanced Defense, a Superior Weapon with +Enhanced Damage or a Helm/Weapon that has +Skill bonuses for a certain class, all of these will remain on the final Rune Word that is created. Farming High Runes: Out of all locations in the game one stands above the rest for farming specifically High Runes, the Countess during Act 1.
