Crescent Moon: Weapon Rune Word - Diablo 2

Crescent Moon is a popular Weapon Rune Word for FoH/Holy Shock Paladins and Lightning Sorceress' because of the -35% To Enemy Lightning Resist that it grants. This makes it a very popular alternative when compared to other Rune Words with -Lightning Resist such as Infinity.

Holy Shock Paladins will be able to benefit from the Chance to Cast on Striking effects on this weapon too; Chain Lightning and Static Field will tear through a group of enemies pretty quickly.

Keep in mind that all Rune Words you create will retain any pre-existing bonuses found on the item. If you find a 'Superior' piece of armor with +Enhanced Defense, a Superior Weapon with +Enhanced Damage or a Helm/Weapon that has +Skill bonuses for a certain class, all of these will remain on the final Rune Word that is created. Farming High Runes: Out of all locations in the game one stands above the rest for farming specifically High Runes, the Countess during Act 1.
