Delirium: Helm Rune Word - Diablo 2

Delirium is an extremely misleading Rune Word because it appears amazing but in reality is terrible. The 1% Chance to Cast Level 50 Delirium When Struck turns you into an Undead Fetish that is unable to attack anything and unable to use any abilities (except an ability that allows you to shift forms). You're stuck as an Undead Fetish for an entire minute, so hopefully you weren't in the middle of a hectic fight because it'll probably get you killed.

As aforementioned, while transformed into an Undead Fetish you will be able to use any shape shifting ability. Druids can use Werebear or Werewolf and shapeshift out of the Delirium form and then back into their normal base form to completely cancel the effect. For this reason, Delirium is usually only used on Druids with at least 1 point into any Shape Shifting form.

Keep in mind that all Rune Words you create will retain any pre-existing bonuses found on the item. If you find a 'Superior' piece of armor with +Enhanced Defense, a Superior Weapon with +Enhanced Damage or a Helm/Weapon that has +Skill bonuses for a certain class, all of these will remain on the final Rune Word that is created. Farming High Runes: Out of all locations in the game one stands above the rest for farming specifically High Runes, the Countess during Act 1.
