Mythical Mana Potion

One of the best ways to make money through Alchemy is by being a Potion Master and making Mythical Mana Potions. Mythical Mana Potions have cheaper materials than their Healing Potion counterpart and sell for the exact same amount, thus why I recommend these more. So to start off you will want to stock up on some Whiptail and some Cinderbloom. You will need exactly double the amount of Whiptail as you do Cinderbloom, so keep that in mind while checking the auction house. For starters lets take a look at the average Whiptail prices on my server.

Right now they are a bit below average, which is actually normal now since we have like 400 bots farming Uldum for Whiptail at all times (I blurred out the names in the picture incase the people selling them aren't bots and the people viewing my website wanna be mean-faces and report the name). For this video/guide I bought 225 Whiptail which costed me a total of 490g. Next up on the list of materials you need to buy is Cinderbloom.

As you can see from the picture above, Cinderbloom is pretty much the cheapest herb there is in Cataclysm. Stormvine sometimes takes the cake for being cheaper than Cinderbloom but it's usually just someone pissed off because they can't get it to sell that just nukes the price down (I suggest buying it up when that happens!). Anyway, as for what I bought, I purchased a total of 112 Cinderbloom for the sake of this guide. Now, it is time to do some math for the potion making! I bought the following in total:

225 Whiptail for 490g

112 Cinderbloom for 175g

Grand Total: 665g for materials

Now it is time to craft them all into potions. At the bare minimum with absolutely 0 procs I would make a total of 112 Mythical Mana Potions which would sell for 1008g in all. That would be a grand total of 343g profit from all of the combines. However, since I am a potion master I of course got quite a few procs (You can check in the video to see how many I got to know I am not lieing). I made a total of 144 Mythical Mana Potions which will sell for 1296g in all for a total profit of 631g.
