Mageweave Cloth Farming Locations

Mageweave is the fourth cloth you will come into contact with while leveling up through WoW. Linen, Wool and Silk are all before it. Mageweave is most commonly found as a drop off of level 40-50 humanoid monsters. The cloth generally goes for around 10g a stack on the auction house but can go much higher or lower depending on what the demand is for it at that time. There are two really good places for players to farm for Mageweave Cloth, both of them are in level 40 instances (Stratholme and Zul'farrak).

Farming there is all fine and dandy if you're above level 70 but if you are in your 40s and need the Mageweave it obviously won't work out so well. So further down this page you will find locations if you need the Mageweave and can't farm the instances that I give below.

Mageweave Cloth Instance Farming Guides:

Zul'Farrak Mageweave Cloth Farming
- On average 3 to 4 stacks of Mageweave Cloth per run

Stratholme Mageweave Cloth Farming
- On average 3 to 4 stacks of Mageweave Cloth per run

If you can't handle any of the instances I've listed above then the below section is just for you. Below you will find all of the good locations for you to farm Mageweave that don't require you to kill elites or mobs that are significantly harder than your character.
