Earthworm Jim is a 2D side-scrolling platform game developed by Shiny Entertainment and published by Playmates Interactive Entertainment. It was first released in 1994 for the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive, and later ported to other platforms including Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES), Game Boy Advance, and PC. The game follows the adventures of Jim, a worm who gains a robotic suit that gives him superhuman abilities. The objective of the game is to navigate through various levels, defeat enemies, and ultimately save Princess What's-Her-Name from the evil Psy-Crow. The game was praised for its humorous and quirky style, unique gameplay mechanics, and colorful graphics.
